About

Meet Julia Hatfield,

A Texas-born singer/songwriter who is forging her own sound within Americana music.

Awarded the Texas Regional Radio Awards’ “2018 New Female Vocalist of the Year”, four top 50 singles, and over a decade of solo performances under her belt at only 27 years old, Julia has already made quite the statement in the music industry.

A semi-finalist at the International Songwriting Competition at only fourteen, her talent was evident early on. Beginning piano at age five as well as writing songs and playing guitar at thirteen, her musical accomplishments have continued to show she is truly a jack of all trades.

Inspired by greats like Dolly Parton, Michael Jackson, & Guy Clark, Julia has created a dynamic sound that shines through in her performances and music — entertaining fans across the country from California to Tennessee, and of course, the great state of Texas where she has opened for acclaimed singer/songwriters such as Gary P Nunn, Crystal Gayle, Kevin Fowler, Jason Eady, Max Stalling, Jaret Ray Reddick and Sam Riggs.

Some of Hatfield’s most recent accomplishments include being featured on the TV documentary, “Won’t Back Down” about the life and career of Tom Petty by AMS Pictures on Reelz© Channel with her cover of Petty’s classic “I Won’t Back Down” from her most recent EP, “Halfway Here”.

Hatfield has also partnered with historic Luckenbach, TX to release her interview series, “Women Crush Wednesdays with Julia Hatfield”. The series features females from across the country scene as they dive into topics the industry has shied away from regarding females.

In the last half of 2023, Hatfield took up a residency onboard the Norwegian Joy, performing at various venues throughout the ship from July through October.

Julia is currently in the process of recording her next several singles with producers Khari Mateen and revered fiddle player, Jody Bartula to be released in 2024. Her latest single, “Tears” was released in May.

Often described as “an old soul with a youthful spirit”, Hatfield’s ability to connect with her audience is undeniable -  with a personality as big as her legendary family.

Upon meeting Julia, you’ll quickly come to know her love for her craft, but that only second to her love for people.

Between her retro vibe and one-of-a-kind talent, this rising artist isn’t just one to watch out for — she’s one to be rooting for.
